Electrical Commissioning Engineer (AI)

Location: Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; or U.S. Remote (On-site required)

Compensation: $197,000 – $227,000 per year

What you will do

• Commission electrical systems for data centers, including distribution, protection, and power quality verification.
• Execute and improve functional and integrated test scripts to identify and resolve system gaps.
• Analyze relay operations, transfer tests, and load data to reconcile against design specifications.
• Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) processes for electrical modules prior to shipment.
• Drive design or setting errors to resolution during the commissioning phase.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the U.S.
• Proven experience commissioning electrical systems in data centers, substations, or industrial plants.
• Discipline in executing switching, transfer, and protection tests.
• Ability to interpret event records and power quality data to troubleshoot design issues.
• Experience working in high-intensity, energized environments following strict safety protocols.

Nice to have

• NETA testing background.
• Experience with protection relay testing.
• Experience with generator and UPS integrated tests.
• FAT development experience.
