Software Development Engineer

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States. Must be a U.S. Person and a U.S. citizen; willing and able to obtain a U.S. Government Security clearance.

Salary: $105,000–$140,000–$154,000 annually in Colorado, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Develop operational and automated test code for the Mission Control System.
• Join the Mission Control System development scrum team and deliver assigned software work.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement appropriate software defect repairs.
• Communicate work status and operational issues clearly.
• Collaborate with Operations Engineers, Systems Engineers, and other development teams.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. Government Security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of software development experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Expertise with Git.
• Experience with Python or Ruby.
• Experience with Linux and AWS technologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices.
