Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Must be a U.S. citizen located in the National Capital Region or San Antonio, Texas

Salary: $64,000–$128,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software systems for offensive cyber operations.
• Implement features based on user stories and acceptance criteria using clean, maintainable, and documented code.
• Develop containerized microservices and integrate them with Government platform services and APIs.
• Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines, automated unit and integration tests, and CI/CD workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, SAFe ceremonies, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, CI/CD, TDD, automated testing, Git, RESTful APIs, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship and residence in the National Capital Region or San Antonio area are required.
