Commissioning Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in the US (Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; or US Remote with onsite requirements)

Salary: $199,000 – $247,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Lead the commissioning program for large-scale data center capacity.
• Execute QA-QC for first-of-a-kind modular data centers.
• Automate Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning processes.
• Commission electrical distribution systems including switchgear, UPS, and generators.
• Write and execute test scripts for protection, transfer schemes, and failure scenarios.
• Oversee NETA testing and vendor startups to verify system performance.

Requirements

• Must have US work authorization.
• Experience commissioning electrical systems on mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to read one-lines, protection studies, and coordination curves.
• Experience running load bank testing at megawatt scale.
• Proven ability to hold vendors to test standards under schedule pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with MV and HV systems.
• Familiarity with EPMS platforms and protective relay testing.
• PE license.
