Data Center Technician, HVAC (Monday-Friday)

What you will do

• Inspect, repair, modify, install, and service HVAC and refrigeration equipment across Columbus data center facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and electrically operated air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnose equipment defects and repair or replace components such as compressors, controls, valves, pumps, belts, filters, and heat exchangers.
• Calibrate systems, maintain equipment and parts inventories, and operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, welding torches, and vacuum pumps.
• Prepare routine records and reports, write Method of Procedures for maintenance and repair activities, and assist with facility cleanliness and other operational tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC-related experience or an equivalent education.
• Skilled mechanical maintenance experience involving heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, routine equipment servicing, system calibration, and defect diagnosis.
• Ability to write Method of Procedures for preventive maintenance, installation, and repair work.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to operate specialized machinery, equipment, and tools used for HVAC and refrigeration maintenance.
