Critical Facility Maintenance Technician (Data Center)

What you will do

• Assist with maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection and suppression, life-safety, temperature control, and building management systems.
• Maintain and monitor electronic work-order systems for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across the data center campus.
• Inspect buildings, lighting, grounds, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, lighting and fuse replacement, and plumbing fixture repairs, including clearing clogged lines and drains.
• Operate hand tools and machinery, maintain inventories, and assist with moving and storing supplies, furniture, and equipment.
• Monitor building conditions and tour the property during scheduled shifts; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of work experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical critical facility systems is an advantage.
• Computer skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to work 40 hours plus occasional overtime and meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and climbing ladders.
