E01-J01 Senior Defense Technologist

hirify.global is hiring for a defense technology role supporting the JHNA – Army BU.

What you will do

• Research and assess emerging defense technologies across fires, autonomy, AI/ML, sensing, weapons, C3, and platform technologies.
• Develop cross-Service and cross-domain technical insights based on operational concepts, CONOPS, CONEMPS, DOTMLPF considerations, and warfighter needs.
• Evaluate military applications for new technologies and assess integration pathways within current and future force designs.
• Collaborate with MBSE practitioners and modeling and simulation teams to represent, parameterize, and implement technologies in system-of-systems simulations, wargames, and physics-based models.
• Work with engineers, program managers, operational planners, and Service representatives to align assessments with doctrine, acquisition processes, and operational realities.
• Produce concise technical analyses for technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders, while maintaining classification, data handling, and disclosure compliance.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI and SAP/CAP eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Science, Physics, or a related listed field.
• At least 7 years of operations research experience focused on mission engineering, systems engineering, or operational analysis.
• At least 5 years of mission planning and analysis experience involving mission threads, OPLANs, CONOPS, CONEMPS, or defense systems.
• Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis, or collaboration with engineering, operational planning, and technology teams in defense contexts.
• Broad knowledge of defense technologies, systems engineering, military operational concepts, and USN, USA, USAF, USMC, and Joint perspectives.
