Commercial Operations Program Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California or New York City, New York; hybrid policy requires staff to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time.

Annual salary: $190,000–$235,000 USD

What you will do

• Run commercial product launches end to end, including intake, scoping, readiness planning, and launch execution.
• Translate launches into requirements covering pricing, billing, tax, marketplaces, compliance, and sales motions.
• Identify launch bottlenecks and implement process, system, ownership, and workflow improvements.
• Build launch tiering, readiness criteria, playbooks, templates, service-level agreements, and training programs.
• Lead instrumentation and workflow automation initiatives, including pipeline visibility, readiness scorecards, intake, tracking, approvals, and status management.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and go-to-market teams to design scalable cross-functional processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in operations, including demonstrated success in billing, payments, or commercial operations.
• Strong knowledge of billing systems, subscription management, and payments platforms.
• Experience building and scaling new product introduction or operational programs from 0 to 1 and beyond.
• Experience with automation initiatives and operational tooling developed in partnership with engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• High-volume SaaS experience.
• Experience leading a team while remaining hands-on in operational program development.
