Supply Chain Buyer (AI)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Salary: $115,000 – $142,000

What you will do

• Execute purchasing across assigned categories, including same-day PO processing and delivery tracking.
• Manage the order book to ensure statuses are current and escalate exceptions immediately.
• Resolve vendor issues such as shortages, substitutions, and expedites with quantified schedule impacts.
• Maintain clean data within the ERP system to support accurate planning and finance operations.
• Collaborate across hardware and software teams to ensure supply chain speed and scale.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a buyer in a fast-moving supply chain environment.
• Ability to manage a heavy PO load and expedite critical parts through constrained suppliers.
• Strong habit of maintaining ERP hygiene regarding dates, prices, and quantities.
• Capacity to escalate issues with facts and actionable recommendations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite or Zip.
• Background in data center, construction, or electronics categories.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Knowledge of freight basics.
