Strategic Sourcing Lead, Warehouse Robotics

Base salary: $160,000–$250,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own sourcing strategy and supplier execution across the robot BOM, including actuators, motors, sensors, compute modules, PCBAs, harnesses, and mechanical assemblies.
• Lead the transition from prototype and in-house manufacturing to contract manufacturing, including contract manufacturer selection, qualification, onboarding, and scaling.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, allocation, and commercial agreements to support cost, quality, and production targets.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and partner with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and compute engineering teams on manufacturability, resilience, and cost optimization.
• Develop multi-source strategies and mitigate allocation, geopolitical, and single-source risks.
• Own BOM cost targets and support NPI and production ramp activities with suppliers and manufacturing partners across Asia Pacific and other global regions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management for hardware products.
• Track record of taking complex hardware products from prototype through production ramp at scale.
• Direct experience with electromechanical components, PCBAs, high-performance compute systems, and contract manufacturing.
• Strong supplier relationships across motors, actuators, sensors, PCBAs, compute, or robotics hardware ecosystems.
• Experience with pricing, lead-time, allocation, and commercial negotiations, as well as NPI, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing scale-up.
• Experience sourcing constrained compute platforms such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, or AMD; comfortable with international travel, primarily across Asia Pacific.
