Senior Last Mile Manager (E-commerce Logistics)

Location: Permanent remote, United Kingdom; approximately one-third of the role involves regional travel for driver ride-alongs, depot inspections, and carrier audits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery and returns performance across the United Kingdom region.
• Manage carrier partnerships, commercial tenders, rate negotiations, SLAs, and performance reviews.
• Conduct driver ride-alongs, depot audits, and on-site root-cause investigations.
• Build AI agents, automated workflows, and SQL data models for tracking, invoice auditing, and exception alerts.
• Partner with Customer Care on customer feedback routines, shared KPIs, complaint reduction, damage prevention, and NPS improvements.
• Lead one Last Mile Coordinator and drive innovations in PUDO networks, white-glove delivery, low-emission delivery, and reverse logistics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in last mile, transportation, or e-commerce logistics.
• Experience managing carrier relationships, commercial tenders, and a substantial P&L cost line.
• Deep knowledge of home delivery networks and complex, multi-tier returns operations.
• Advanced SQL and BI analytics skills, with hands-on experience building AI agent workflows and task automations.
• Availability to spend approximately 33% of working time travelling across the United Kingdom region.
• Business-fluent English required.
