Transport Operations Specialist (Transport Logistics)

Location: Lund, Sweden (HQ Campus); hybrid work with on-site presence at least three days a week

What you will do

• Resolve complex transport operational issues by diagnosing root causes and driving durable fixes.
• Define, document, and maintain standards for case handling and prioritization across carriers and transport flows.
• Lead operational performance meetings with transport providers and drive actions against service-level deviations.
• Own and report KPIs including delivery performance, claims, and transit-time compliance, turning data into improvement actions.
• Convert recurring cases and operational friction into evidence-based requirements for logistics development and procurement escalation.
• Handle daily cases, claims, and stakeholder communication while supporting service launches, carrier onboarding, system changes, and team capability building.

Requirements

• Around five or more years of transport logistics operations experience in an international or global environment.
• Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex operational issues.
• Experience leading operational performance meetings with external transport providers.
• Experience improving operational processes, not only executing them.
• Solid understanding of inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics across transport modes, with strong analytical skills.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English; the role requires hybrid work in Lund with on-site attendance at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience across multiple carriers and transport modes.
• Experience with KPI reporting and operational performance management.
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting, AI tools, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP/TMS environment.
• Swedish language skills or an interest in developing them.
