Project Manager Software & Cybersecurity (Wind Turbines)

Location: Hamburg or Rostock, Germany; up to 8 days of mobile work per month.

Develops wind turbine platforms, control software, and engineering solutions supporting safe and stable wind turbine operation.

What you will do

• Manage software development projects across turbine platforms within Global Engineering.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering and service teams.
• Evaluate project ideas and support approval processes.
• Align project scope and timelines with other project managers.
• Report project status, escalate relevant topics, and coordinate technical risk management.
• Organize prototype testing and ramp-up procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Project management experience focused on software projects; project management certification is preferred.
• Experience with the wind turbine industry, especially electrical or control systems, is highly preferred.
• Strong MS Office and MS Project skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP and PLM systems.
• Spanish or German language skills.
