Sr Director, Data Science and Analytics

Location: US Remote

Salary: Zone 1: $319,600–$479,400 USD for CA, CT, DC, MD, MA, NJ, NY, VA, and WA; Zone 2: $298,700–$448,100 USD for all other US locations

What you will do

• Own the data science and applied AI roadmap for G&A, including agentic systems, forecasting, lead scoring, and decision-support capabilities.
• Lead, hire, and develop a data science and analytics organization while setting standards for technical rigor, evaluation, and production quality.
• Partner with operations and product leaders to identify high-impact problems and translate them into operational decisions and shipped AI capabilities.
• Oversee finance analytics supporting accounting, FP&A, and pricing.
• Collaborate with data engineering, machine learning engineering, and platform teams on data quality, infrastructure, orchestration, tooling, and guardrails.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and promote agent-first ways of working.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science or applied AI/ML.
• 5+ years of experience leading and growing teams, including analytics teams.
• Experience influencing internal operational decisions through ML systems such as forecasts and lead scores.
• Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning, with expertise in LLMs, agentic systems, orchestration, retrieval, and evaluation.
• Fluency in SQL and Python, plus familiarity with modern data and AI stacks, cloud warehouses, dbt, and LLM or agent deployment pipelines.
• Ability to partner with non-technical executives and translate ambiguous business problems into actionable work.
