Senior Data Scientist

Location: San Francisco, CA; full-time telecommuting is an option for U.S.-based employees

Salary: $229,000–$267,100 USD per year, plus potential equity and, depending on the position, commission.

What you will do

• Develop action-oriented insights for product strategy through observational causal analysis and experiment meta analysis.
• Guide the design, execution, and deep-dive analysis of A/B tests to improve experimentation practices.
• Create and maintain ETLs, tables, dashboards, and self-serve tools for data scientists and cross-functional partners.
• Design and evaluate team-level KPIs, support quarterly goal setting, and demonstrate team impact.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout projects to align data science work with business goals.
• Mentor junior data scientists and business partners in data science methods and best practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline and two years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible relevant experience.
• A/B testing and experimentation design experience.
• Causal inference, incrementality measurement, statistical modeling, and data analysis skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining ETLs, designing KPIs, and creating data visualizations and reports.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in machine learning and predictive modeling.
• U.S. location eligibility applies to the U.S.-based role and compensation range.
