Help Desk Intern

What you will do

• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, operating systems, and other systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide help desk and desktop software support.
• Organize and maintain IT resources and company hardware.
• Assist with cybersecurity, programming, analytics, computer operations, and data center management.
• Follow federal, state, local, and accrediting agency requirements while handling confidential and sensitive issues.
• Complete required training and continue developing technical knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a degree program closely related to IT or a similar field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, office equipment, and word-processing tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ability to sit and keyboard for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
