Technical Support Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Provide timely technical support and deliver effective customer issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot complex customer environments and diagnose networking and infrastructure problems.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams on workarounds and permanent fixes.
• Respond to customer inquiries across chat, phone, and web channels.
• Track, classify, prioritize, and report customer cases and support metrics.
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting 24/7 coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in technical support; leadership roles require 15+ years in support environments.
• Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, and data center technologies.
• Hands-on experience with networking technologies and network operating systems including IOS, IOS-XR, EOS, and Junos.
• Strong ability to debug and troubleshoot complex networking issues.
• Significant DevOps, Network Operations, or Network Engineering experience in a cloud provider or enterprise environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SONiC or another open-source network operating system.
