What you will do
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers to support system availability, performance, and uptime.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective fixes.
- Install and configure hardware, software, and system integrations.
- Develop configuration standards and maintain technical documentation.
- Implement security controls, conduct system audits, and support compliance with organizational policies.
- Establish backup procedures, develop disaster recovery plans, and test recovery processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of systems administration experience managing servers and applications in a corporate environment.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and other network protocols and services.
- Familiarity with security best practices and implementation of security measures.
