Staff Nurse Inpatient-Inpatient Behavioral Health Full-time Days

Location: 3701 Doty Rd, Woodstock, Illinois, United States; onsite clinical role with night shifts

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill inpatient behavioral health patients and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
• Direct care delivery and determine the appropriate use of assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document assessments, care plans, communications, interventions, and patient responses in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, with an every-other-weekend commitment.
• Night shift availability required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
