Project Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States. On-site.

Salary: $155,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects from development handoff through commercial operation.
• Own budgets, schedules, scope, risk, cash-flow forecasts, change orders, and earned-value KPIs.
• Build and maintain integrated Primavera P6 or MS Project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage RFPs, bid analysis, EPC and subcontractor awards, PCO tracking, lender reporting, interconnection reporting, and close-out.
• Mitigate critical-path and long-lead risks involving transformers, inverters, switchgear, BESS enclosures, and interconnection milestones.
• Lead construction managers, field superintendents, and project engineers across concurrent solar sites.

Requirements

• Experience leading utility-scale solar or solar-plus-storage projects from NTP through COD.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, electrical, BESS, substation, and gen-tie scopes.
• Project-level budget ownership, earned-value tracking, contingency management, and change-order governance.
• Experience managing interconnection milestones and CAISO, MISO, ERCOT, or PJM queue processes.
• Ability to communicate project status precisely to lenders, landowners, field superintendents, and other stakeholders.
• Experience building and scaling field-based project teams across multiple concurrent sites.

Nice to have

• PMI-PMP certification or equivalent.
• BESS and substation construction experience.
• Multi-state concurrent portfolio delivery experience.
• Lender reporting and project finance interface experience.
