Project Manager (Robotics)

Location: Fully onsite at the headquarters in Irvine, California, United States

Salary: $130,000–$200,000 per year, plus benefits and equity

What you will do

• Drive strategic execution across multi-project portfolios, defining milestones, managing budgets, and coordinating resources.
• Align engineering, field operations, product, and business stakeholders around scope, dependencies, risks, and timelines.
• Coordinate go-to-market readiness for robot deployment programs, including performance, safety, and scalability requirements.
• Track program metrics, status, financials, and ROI; escalate risks and report progress to leadership and investors.
• Prepare executive updates, board materials, and investor presentations.
• Identify technical, operational, and commercial blockers and drive their resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field.
• At least two years of experience in project coordination, program support, or operations within a technical organization.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into structured task breakdowns and timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including cross-functional coordination with engineering teams.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance or export control authorization required for defense-related programs.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics, autonomy, aerospace, or defense engineering programs.
• Familiarity with government contracting structures such as SBIR, SOWs, or deliverable-based contracts.
• Experience defining acceptance criteria and milestone definitions with technical leads.
• Fast-growing startup experience, an MS technical degree, or PMP certification.
• Experience managing rugged ground autonomy projects.
