What you will do
- Lead SHEQ functions covering occupational safety and environmental compliance, including policy implementation, training, risk management, incident reporting, and investigations.
- Manage environmental monitoring, waste control, audits, regulatory coordination, and the Environmental Management System.
- Support occupational safety compliance through HIRARC, workplace inspections, and emergency preparedness.
- Lead audits and compliance activities for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 through the Integrated Management System.
- Maintain GDPMD certification requirements, coordinate with the Malaysian Medical Device Authority on establishment licensing and device registration, and update EHS and MDA legal registers.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, regulatory reporting, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in safety and environmental roles.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety and environmental regulations.
- Safety and Health Coordinator or Safety and Health Officer certification from DOSH Malaysia.
- Competent Person certification under Malaysian DOE regulations, such as Scheduled Waste Manager or CePSWaM.
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong safety awareness, proactive problem-solving, communication, teamwork, adaptability, customer focus, and effective time management.
