What you will do

• Lead, plan, and continuously improve plant EHS strategies and performance in line with organizational goals.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert and advisor to the Plant Head on all EHS risks and regulatory obligations.
• Implement and maintain a comprehensive EHS Management System, including HIRARC, incident reporting, and industrial hygiene.
• Lead the EHS team, chair the EHS Committee, and drive a strong safety culture across the plant.
• Represent the organization during regulatory inspections and engagements with authorities such as DOSH, DOE, and BOMBA.
• Oversee EHS audits and documentation in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or an EHS-related discipline.
• Valid Green Book as a Registered Safety and Health Officer with DOSH.
• Minimum 10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of Malaysia EHS legislation (OSHA 1994, Environmental Quality Act 1974, etc.).
• Proven experience influencing senior plant leadership and managing diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Registration as an RPO/RPS with the Atomic Energy Department.
• Experience in Sustainability, Business Continuity Planning, or Crisis Management.
• Exposure to machinery safety standards (IEC / ISO / ANSI / SEMI) and Fire Life Safety standards (FM Global / NFPA).
