Account Manager - Engaged - New York (AI Cloud)

Location: New York, NY; access to a New York office and data center environment.

Base salary: $165,000–$205,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and grow a portfolio of 15–30 active billing customers across infrastructure and SaaS/software.
• Drive retention, renewals, expansion revenue, customer adoption, and reduced churn risk.
• Identify, shape, negotiate, and close expansion and renewal opportunities.
• Build multi-threaded relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
• Monitor account health, usage, consumption trends, revenue, renewals, and expansion pipeline.
• Coordinate Solutions Architects, Technical Solutions Managers, support, product specialists, and cross-functional partners to deliver customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of sales, account management, or customer-facing commercial experience in cloud, infrastructure, SaaS, AI platforms, or related technology markets.
• Experience managing multiple active customer accounts simultaneously.
• Proven success driving retention, renewals, and expansion revenue.
• Experience negotiating and closing commercial deals, including renewals and upsell or expansion.
• Comfort working across infrastructure and SaaS/software motions.
• Consistent achievement of revenue and retention goals.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to satisfy U.S. export-control requirements for access to controlled information: be a U.S. person, be eligible without export authorization, or be eligible and reasonably likely to obtain authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, hyperscalers, AI infrastructure, or adjacent software platforms.
• Experience managing infrastructure and SaaS customers in the same book of business.
• Familiarity with consumption- or usage-based revenue models.
• Familiarity with large-scale compute, bare metal, inference, or AI platform offerings.
