Jr. Application Specialist / Application Specialist (Compressors)

Location: On-site at the office in Wuxi, China

What you will do

• Release solutions for custom-designed products, OEM applications, and product options.
• Evaluate customer requirements and prepare proposals based on order scope, available resources, quality, delivery, SHE, energy-saving, and cost targets.
• Coordinate with Customer Center, sourcing, and other departments to improve hit ratio and deliver custom orders on time and in full.
• Provide fast customer feedback, manage inquiries, and continuously improve inquiry systems and applications.
• Review quotations and coach application engineers on reliable, hands-on product support.
• Analyze industry application development, proposal performance, and pre- and post-costs while driving cost reduction.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of product design or marketing experience in OIS compressors.
• University degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Experience coordinating project team members, summarizing customer requests, and preparing appropriate proposals.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, safety reviews, and applicable legal requirements.
• Good command of English and Mandarin in both spoken and written communication.
• Proficiency in BPCS, 2D/3D software, Vault, and Microsoft Office, with strong knowledge of compressor applications and system solutions.
