Engineer, Mechanical Design (HVAC)

Location: On-site in Wujiang (Taicang), Jiangsu, China, 5 days per week

What you will do

• Develop, upgrade, and maintain Thermo King products.
• Perform concept design and technical selection based on customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed designs, 2D drawings, 3D layouts, BOMs, and product engineering database deliverables.
• Provide technical support for original designs, design adjustments, and engineering changes.
• Support testing of new components, assemblies, and complete systems.
• Contribute to VAVE projects, engineering analysis, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience.
• Knowledge of general design principles and fundamental engineering concepts.
• Experience with Pro/E or Creo 3D modeling and 2D drafting; finite element knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal, tubing, machining, casting, and assembly.
• Effective spoken and written English communication; CET-6 and experience in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry are preferred.
