Junior Power Converter Engineer (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Shanghai, China; based in Suzhou with regular travel to assigned supplier sites

What you will do

• Represent the engineering department in daily technical communication and coordination with assigned suppliers.
• Track design deliverables, including data sheets, drawings, calculation reports, DFMEA, and simulation reports, against project schedules.
• Verify prototype manufacturing processes, incoming materials, in-process tests, final tests, and supplier special testing.
• Identify design, process, manufacturing, and quality risks and coordinate preventive actions and issue resolution with SQA engineers.
• Review supplier 2D/3D models, support test fixture design, and provide technical support for electrical component assembly, commissioning, and testing in the nacelle plant.
• Analyze design changes and cost-reduction proposals and maintain technical documents, 3D product structures, and version information in Teamcenter.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including 2–3 years of engineering or R&D technical experience.
• Native Mandarin and proficient professional English in spoken and written communication are required.
• Based in Suzhou and able to travel regularly to assigned supplier sites.
• Experience with prototype manufacturing, engineering documentation, supplier quality issues, testing, and technical change implementation.
