Mgr, Customer Engineer

What you will do

• Develop customer relationships across the district and conduct regular customer visits.
• Manage, coach, and direct customer engineers, including objective setting, performance appraisals, career planning, salary planning, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate reporting and act as the primary interface with product divisions for technical support, training, spares, and reliability.
• Lead account planning, system-sales support, district financial forecasting, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Plan and execute system installations, including pre-facility and start-up meetings and process-support identification.
• Manage escalation, RMA, customer-engineer hours tracking, mentoring, and service-effectiveness measurement.

Requirements

• Experience managing customer engineering or field engineering teams.
• Ability to analyze situations and data, assess relevant factors, and make decisions within established policies and procedures.
• Ability to provide direction to employees, administer company policies, and recommend policy changes.
• Ability to gain cooperation and present technical information related to projects and schedules.
