What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions, including Service Catalog items, record producers, Flow Designer workflows, and task orchestration.
• Architect complex multi-stage workflows with routing, approvals, SLAs, and parallel or sequential task execution.
• Establish ServiceNow development standards, reusable modular patterns, code quality practices, and configuration management.
• Design and support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems such as Jira, internal APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Oversee source control, CI/CD alignment, environment promotion, workflow performance metrics, and platform architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Business Analysts while mentoring junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least 7 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 9 years of combined education and relevant experience including at least 5 years in systems analysis or application development.
• Expert proficiency in at least one programming language and professional proficiency in at least one additional language.
• Hands-on ServiceNow platform development experience, including server-side and client-side scripting.
• Extensive experience with Service Catalog items, record producers, Flow Designer, approvals, SLAs, routing rules, and task lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, tables, relationships, configuration versus customization, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Experience with source control, versioning, CI/CD or environment promotion, and translating complex requirements into secure, scalable solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and mentoring ServiceNow developers.
• Experience with enterprise-scale workflow architectures, integrations, governance, performance optimization, and operational reporting.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Certified Implementation Specialist – Service Catalog certification.
• Flow Designer and integration-related micro-certifications.
