Lead ServiceNow Developer (ServiceNow)

Location: Onsite in San Diego, California, five days per week. Candidates must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and perform all work in the United States.

Salary: $108,006–$183,610 per year.

What you will do

• Design and architect comprehensive ServiceNow solutions aligned with client requirements and platform best practices.
• Provide technical oversight for implementations, integrations, workflow automation, and data consistency across systems.
• Optimize platform performance, address bottlenecks, and establish quality assurance plans for technical deliverables.
• Design security plans and ensure solutions meet federal security and compliance requirements.
• Create architecture diagrams, design specifications, implementation guidelines, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Lead client relationships, mentor ServiceNow professionals, develop client roadmaps, and support proposals and business growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and work onsite in San Diego five days per week.
• One of the following certifications: CISSP, Security+, CASP+, or CISM.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
• Knowledge of NIST, RMF, eMASS, DoDM 8140, IL4/IL5, IRM, RBAC, data policies, SSO, and integration security.
• Experience with Integration Hub, REST APIs, custom integration scripting, JavaScript, and GlideScript.
• Experience designing and leading complex, scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions.
