Senior Software Engineer - ServiceNow

Base salary: $89,400.00–$183,500.00 annually

What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead for the enterprise ServiceNow CMDB, including architecture, governance, modernization, and continuous improvement.
• Align CMDB capabilities with CSDM 5, improve data quality, and increase operational adoption.
• Design and maintain CI models, relationship mappings, automations, workflows, custom applications, and platform enhancements.
• Lead ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping, including MID Server management, tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Build and support integrations with Workday, AWS, MuleSoft, Dynatrace, Tenable, monitoring tools, APM, and TBM platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, solution design, testing, and Agile delivery guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with ServiceNow development and platform engineering.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Configuration Management, ITOM, ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, and MID Servers.
• Experience implementing and supporting CSDM, preferably version 5 or later, including CMDB governance, reconciliation, and data quality.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, application architectures, technology dependencies, software engineering practices, testing, automation, CI/CD, and secure development.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills in Agile environments.
