ServiceNow Platform Engineer (ServiceNow)

Location: Hybrid in Washington, D.C. 20036; U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 annually, based on experience level.

What you will do

• Stand up, configure, secure, and maintain a new ServiceNow environment within a secure federal enclave.
• Establish instance architecture, administration baselines, security settings, upgrade processes, patch management, documentation, and technical design records.
• Install and configure MID Servers and enable secure connectivity and enterprise integrations through REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub.
• Configure LDAP/Active Directory, SSO/SAML, authorization, authentication, and role-based access controls.
• Support NIST, FISMA, DISA STIG, and Assessment and Authorization activities.
• Support ITSM and CMDB implementation, collaborate with security, infrastructure, and program stakeholders, and manage work using Agile/Scrum.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration, configuration, and engineering experience.
• Experience standing up new ServiceNow instances or leading instance-level builds and migrations.
• Strong server-side and client-side JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, and Script Includes experience.
• Experience with MID Server installation and configuration and REST/SOAP integrations.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance are required; active Secret clearance holders may be considered with sponsorship for upgrade to Top Secret.

Nice to have

• Federal or defense contracting experience, especially in classified, air-gapped, or isolated networks.
• ServiceNow CAD or CIS certification.
• Hands-on CMDB, ITOM, Discovery, ServiceNow ATF, release coordination, version control, or environment management experience.
• Windows Server implementation, upgrade, and integration experience.
