Commercial Credit Senior Associate (Engineering & Construction)

Location: Radnor, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid schedule with four days per week in the office.

Salary: $113,300–$188,800 annually (USD).

What you will do

• Underwrite new commercial credit requests and material modifications from deal screening through approval and the full loan lifecycle.
• Manage transaction execution and ongoing portfolio credit risk, including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, early warning indicators, and problem-loan management.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, appraisals, due diligence reports, industry research, and peer data to assess credit quality.
• Prepare financial models, cash-flow analyses, collateral schedules, covenant sensitivity calculations, guarantor analyses, and risk-rating recommendations.
• Recommend transaction structures, terms, conditions, controls, collateral, and guarantors based on base-case, company-case, and downside scenarios.
• Partner with relationship managers, commercial credit analysts, clients, and credit committees throughout the approval and portfolio-management process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, plus at least five years of relevant commercial credit or financial analysis experience; alternatively, nine years of combined higher education and work experience including five relevant years.
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, credit metrics, ratio analysis, and trend analysis.
• Emerging proficiency in legal-documentation review, structural analysis, and independently structuring transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, lead transaction execution with a Commercial Credit Analyst, and build customer relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Capital IQ, FactSet, or Bloomberg.
• Experience with nCino.
