Software Engineer (Machine Learning)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site in the office 5 days a week. This is not a hybrid role.

Salary: $170K–$280K plus equity.

hirify.global is building a high-performance data platform for machine learning applications, focused on reducing complexity, latency, and scalability barriers.

What you will do

• Work directly with the co-founders to productionize the first iteration of the platform.
• Write TypeScript, Python, Go, and React.
• Expose core platform functionality to data scientists and machine learning users in their own environments.
• Build and maintain reliable data processing systems that perform at scale.
• Develop user-facing CLI and web experiences with strong usability.
• Iterate rapidly on the platform in response to customer needs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of computer science fundamentals and experience building and maintaining real systems.
• Experience developing sophisticated, user-facing applications.
• Strong attention to user experience and ability to learn new concepts quickly.
• Ability to work autonomously, make pragmatic trade-offs, and focus on business outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing data infrastructure.
• Experience working with developer tools.
• Experience with applied machine learning or data analytics.
• Experience with Go.
