Member of Technical Staff – Applied AI, Fullstack (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco or New York City, United States

Salary: $185,000–$250,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Drive the fullstack technical vision in collaboration with Product, Design, Backend, and Frontend teams.
• Lead complex projects across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Build end-to-end features from database schemas through production-ready user interfaces.
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, microservices, and responsive frontend experiences.
• Improve engineering processes, tools, reliability, scalability, and development velocity.
• Engage with customers and mentor engineers while helping shape the engineering culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience delivering products at scale.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills across backend services and frontend applications.
• Expertise in database design, API development, and system architecture.
• Experience with Vue, React, or Angular and Django, FastAPI, Flask, or Node.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience mentoring engineers, working directly with customers, and building systems in an early-stage startup.
