Field Service Technician (Laboratory Products)

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; overnight travel typically up to 25–40%, with higher travel during training.

What you will do

• Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory instruments and weighing equipment.
• Resolve service issues independently, escalate complex problems, and maintain accurate service and timekeeping records.
• Provide on-site and occasional remote technical support to customers, including guidance on equipment use, care, and optimization.
• Maintain parts, tools, and materials inventory to support efficient service delivery.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams, promote service and product offerings, and meet productivity and safety expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1–3 years of mechanical or technical experience using hand tools; field service or customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with PCs, smartphones, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in varied industrial and laboratory environments with possible exposure to chemicals, machinery, and moderate noise while using appropriate PPE.
• Safety-sensitive position subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
