Field Service Calibration Technician (Mechanical)

Location: On-site in Marietta, GA

Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 Hourly

What you will do

• Perform calibration and verification of mechanical inspection, measurement, and test equipment in-lab and at customer facilities.
• Document calibration results accurately to maintain compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Troubleshoot measurement discrepancies and provide technical support to customers.
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and operation of calibration equipment.
• Travel regionally (up to 20% overnight), primarily to local customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in calibration of tensile and compression test machines.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) for ITAR compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments.
• Clean driving record, background check, and drug screen.
• Ability to travel via automobile or air to reach customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Extensometers, Rockwell, Brinell, Micro, and Macro Hardness Testers.
• Experience with torque, pressure, surface plates, optical comparators, weight scales, micrometers, and calipers.
