Senior Legal Associate (Crypto)

Location: Remote across the United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, or the United Arab Emirates. Ideally within 3 hours of GMT/BST. UK visa sponsorship is available for exceptional candidates.

What you will do

• Manage regulatory licensing and cross-jurisdictional legal structures.
• Support and challenge commercial deal structuring and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance across sales, marketing, and corporate communications.
• Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of existing and new digital-asset products.
• Manage legal entity governance, fund structures, intellectual property protection, and data privacy compliance.
• Work with leadership, external counsel, regulators, and partners on strategic execution and cross-border operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal and operations experience in crypto, asset management, or financial services.
• Qualified lawyer or equivalent experience in a senior legal function.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including FCA, CIMA, SEC, and MiCA.
• Experience with legal entity structuring, fund governance, cross-border operations, and offshore fund or asset management structures.
• Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and working with external counsel and regulators.
• Ability to manage multiple legal and compliance workstreams, communicate complex topics clearly, and lead activities from start to finish.
