Senior Compliance Counsel (FinTech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland. Hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Occasional remote work is available across Poland and internationally subject to internal policy.

What you will do

• Support the Group Data Protection Officer and first-line teams in implementing and monitoring the data protection framework.
• Create and review RoPA entries, risk assessments, DPIAs, TIAs, LIAs, and other required documentation.
• Collaborate with Vendor Management and Information Security to oversee data processors and conduct data protection audits.
• Maintain data protection policies and procedures and support controls and second-line audits.
• Advise colleagues across the organization on data protection, AI Compliance, and IT Compliance topics.
• Facilitate training, develop learning materials, and support third-party inquiries, due diligence questionnaires, RFPs, and RFIs.

Requirements

• Degree in law, commercial law, or similar relevant education.
• At least 5 years of experience in data protection and privacy.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient spoken and written English is required.
• Good understanding of data protection issues and risks, with the ability to balance sound business advice and high professional standards.
• Previous experience in technology or financial companies is valuable.
