TL;DR
Software Engineer (ML Infrastructure) (Python/SQL): Building and integrating feature pipelines and proprietary machine learning infrastructure for healthcare, finance, fraud prevention, and recommendation use cases with an accent on backend engineering and customer-specific implementations. Focus on translating customer requirements into efficient production systems, collaborating with sales and engineering teams, and supporting deployments from pre-sales through post-sales.
Location: Singapore; remote role with an expectation to work in person

What you will do
- Implement technology for customers and prospects across different environments.
- Build efficient feature pipelines for healthcare, finance, and recommendation use cases.
- Partner with Engineering and Sales teams as the primary technical contact before and after customer onboarding.
- Gather requirements, support existing customers, and recommend products as customer needs evolve.
- Help interview and grow the Engineering team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Professional experience writing software or building machine learning models.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, storytelling, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Experience working closely with sales teams and customers.
- Experience with machine learning or data products and services.
- Understanding of MLOps or machine learning infrastructure.
- Previous experience as a forward-deployed engineer at a high-growth machine learning startup.
