Workers' Compensation Product Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Downers Grove, Illinois, USA

Salary: $99,250–$166,777 per year, depending on location, skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Analyze product features, utilization trends, user feedback, and complex data to identify improvements.
• Monitor workers’ compensation regulations and ensure alignment with compliance requirements and industry standards.
• Define business requirements, prioritize enhancements, and collaborate with product management, software development, quality assurance, and customer support.
• Validate product enhancements through testing and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Support documentation, training materials, user guides, demonstrations, and product adoption.
• Drive workflow optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements across the claims product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare roles focused on workers’ compensation claim management.
• Strong knowledge of claim management processes, reporting, regulatory compliance, software development methodologies, and agile principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, training, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide product requirements, manage multiple complex projects, work independently, and meet firm deadlines.
• Proven leadership experience in matrix or cross-functional settings is highly desirable.

• Advanced degree or professional certification such as SCLA or ARM.
