Assistant Insurance Product Manager II

What you will do

• Manage assigned states to meet profitability targets and support profitable growth.
• Develop state-specific strategies for pricing, product, and underwriting.
• Analyze competition, market opportunities, threats, and business risks.
• Lead end-to-end department and corporate initiatives and implement product changes.
• Manage rate filings through approval and review related text and communications.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, company leaders, regulators, consultants, legal, and compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
• Experience in pricing, product analysis, or product management.
• Working knowledge of insurance regulation, underwriting, pricing techniques, and business constraints.
• Strong analytical, planning, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data sources, tools, and modeling techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree and the ability to manage states with management oversight.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business or a related field.
• FCAS, ACAS, or CPCU designation.
