TL;DR
IT Technician (AI): Providing remote technical support and infrastructure operations for a global life sciences workforce with an accent on Microsoft systems administration, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and AI-enabled workflows. Focus on troubleshooting enterprise systems, managing identity and network security, supporting validated environments, and deploying automation and responsible AI tools.
Location: Remote, based in the Philippines; required schedule is 3:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).

What you will do
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot servers, networks, endpoints, applications, and enterprise systems.
- Administer Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, Group Policy, identity services, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Support network and security operations, including VPNs, wireless infrastructure, patching, vulnerability remediation, endpoint monitoring, and incident response.
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, asset inventories, work orders, infrastructure reports, and compliance records.
- Support GDPR, GxP, FDA, validation, audit, change-control, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity requirements.
- Deploy and support AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, user documentation, training, and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may substitute.
- Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, infrastructure operations, or a related technical role.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, networking, and endpoint management.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and cloud technologies, with practical knowledge of cybersecurity and vulnerability management.
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles, with the ability to support regulated, validated, and audited environments.
- Must be able to work remotely from the Philippines on the required EST schedule.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Power Automate, scripting, or similar tools.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
- Experience with validation, change management, audits, AI enablement, or workflow automation.
- Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, Azure, Security+, AI, or related certifications.
