Technical Support Engineer II (Systems Analyst)

What you will do

• Resolve escalated support requests, break/fix issues, application installations, and user configuration changes.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, networking, server, cloud, and client environment issues through remote and onsite support.
• Configure and administer Windows Server environments, Hyper-V hosts, networking, security systems, and SonicWall firewalls.
• Support Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, Datto BCDR, SaaS Backup, switches, access points, and other client technologies.
• Mentor Level I technicians, collaborate on escalations, and contribute to shared technical knowledge.
• Document tickets, procedures, configurations, and client details accurately in Autotask and the documentation platform.

Requirements

• Hybrid work from the greater Seattle area is required, including flexibility to work from home, the Bellingham office, and client sites.
• CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification is required, or must be obtained within six months of employment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Working knowledge of SonicWall firewalls, Datto Networking, core networking concepts, on-premise SharePoint administration, Microsoft 365, Intune, and cloud services.
• Strong written and verbal communication, independence, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment.

Nice to have

• MS-102 certification.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, Datto Networking, Datto BCDR, SaaS Backup, or VoIP telephony including Microsoft Teams.
• Previous managed service provider experience.
