Electronics Test Support Engineer

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day technical support for ICT and functional test stations on the production floor.
• Troubleshoot fixture, probing, measurement, false-failure, and intermittent-fault issues.
• Support the operation, maintenance, repair, duplication, and upgrading of Keysight i3070 test systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain records of issues, fixes, and recurring problems.
• Investigate First Time Test Failure Rate issues and support engineering changes affecting test systems and fixtures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and senior test engineers to resolve production and systemic ICT issues.

Requirements

• HNC, HND, or bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a production test engineering environment.
• Experience developing, troubleshooting, and supporting automated test systems for electronic or electromechanical products.
• Practical experience with In-Circuit Test systems and automated or functional test equipment in manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of ICT principles, test fixtures, interface hardware, schematics, and PCB layouts.
• Structured problem-solving skills, clear communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
