TL;DR
Manufacturing Engineer II (AI infrastructure manufacturing): Optimizing production facilities for modular integrated electronics buildings and power distribution equipment with an accent on plant layouts, throughput, DFMA, and production support. Focus on analyzing bottlenecks, designing fixtures, improving FPY and OPE, and implementing data-driven continuous improvements on the factory floor.

Location: On-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 annually plus bonus; restricted stock units included.

What you will do

  • Design and update manufacturing floor layouts to improve material flow, space utilization, and operator safety.
  • Analyze production data and conduct time studies to identify bottlenecks, balance assembly lines, and increase throughput.
  • Support capacity planning and resource calculations for high-volume manufacturing operations.
  • Participate in Design for Manufacturability and Assembly reviews and provide factory-floor feedback to design teams.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, assembly instructions, and manufacturing aids, including jigs and fixtures.
  • Provide daily production support, resolve manufacturing issues, lead root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in complex assembly or electromechanical environments.
  • Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or SketchUp.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly processes, with data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for 8 hours or more daily; participation in a required drug and alcohol program.

Nice to have

  • Plant Simulation experience for workflow and throughput modeling.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP software, BOMs, and work orders.
