Software Implementation Consultant (Financial)

Location: Remote, USA; up to 30% travel to customer sites and regional meetings, with occasional travel to offices in Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City for onboarding and team events.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, plus full-time benefits.

What you will do

• Act as the principal customer liaison throughout software implementation projects.
• Lead business discovery, analyze customer workflows and operations, and recommend delivery approaches.
• Translate technical requirements into system configuration and implementation solutions.
• Build trusted customer relationships and advise on best practices, solution value, and business impact.
• Partner with project managers and training specialists to deliver implementation plans on time and to a high quality standard.
• Identify and communicate risks, escalations, delays, and change-management needs, including user readiness and acceptance.

Requirements

• Experience in software implementation consulting, workflow analysis, recommendation development, and measuring business outcomes.
• Experience working with multi-resource project teams and balancing milestones and objectives.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly and convert them into customer value.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver on commitments in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Post-secondary education in accounting or technology is preferred.
