HR Advisor

What you will do

• Provide practical, business-focused HR guidance across Scotland operations.
• Manage employee relations cases end-to-end, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and absence cases.
• Lead sickness absence management through case reviews, occupational health referrals, and return-to-work planning.
• Support managers with maternity, family leave, and flexible working processes.
• Maintain accurate, compliant, audit-ready case documentation and coordinate employee lifecycle changes with HR Shared Services.
• Identify employee relations trends and support compensation reviews, organisational changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong generalist HR experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex employee relations cases.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and its practical application.
• CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification.
• Excellent communication, organisation, prioritisation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Access.
