Lead Software Engineer ( .NET/Angular)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States of America; four days onsite at Seneca One Buffalo and one day per week from home.

Salary: $116,400–$194,000 annual USD.

What you will do

• Lead technical execution for an Agile development team supporting digital account opening and credit card application journeys.
• Develop secure, clean, resilient full-stack applications using .NET and Angular.
• Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused enhancements.
• Review designs, technical proposals, pull requests, requirements, testing methodologies, and code coverage.
• Drive automation, observability, performance, resiliency, cloud migration, and modernization initiatives.
• Investigate production incidents, reduce application abandonment, and contribute to fraud detection and prevention.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with at least 7 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of combined education and relevant work experience, including 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience.
• Expert proficiency in at least one relevant programming language and professional proficiency in at least one additional relevant programming language.
• Expert .NET development skills and strong full-stack engineering experience.
• Experience building modern web applications with Angular.
• Ability to work four days onsite in Buffalo, New York, with one remote day per week.

• Experience in Agile development environments and collaboration with Product Owners.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring development teams.
• Experience supporting customer-facing digital banking platforms, account opening, or credit card applications.
• Experience with automated testing, production issue resolution, application resiliency, or cloud modernization.
