Manager I (SaaS Implementation)

Location: On-site in Chicago, Illinois, United States; approximately 25% travel required

Salary: $105,000–$118,000 per year, including base salary and a portion of variable compensation tied to company and individual performance

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor Implementation Analysts and Implementation Consultants.
• Oversee customer implementations, including data requirements gathering, platform configuration, administrator training, and delivery quality.
• Support complex projects by advising on data transformation, workflow optimization, technical troubleshooting, and configuration logic.
• Track team utilization, delivery metrics, project portfolio health, risks, priorities, and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to align expectations and improve delivery efficiency.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, customer feedback collection, and implementation process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; prior people-management experience is highly desirable.
• At least 3 years of project delivery experience in a SaaS environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, competing priorities, customer workflows, product configuration requirements, process logic, and architecture.
• Strong Excel skills, including functions and formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, error checking, and formatted reporting.
• Experience delivering training or support to end users in government or regulated environments; ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Geographic Information Systems software.
• Experience with ETL tools, ETL report creation, macros, or Visual Basic.
• Knowledge of government budgeting, finance, procurement, permitting, licensing, or asset management.
